Climate control

Even cooling, quiet, and cheap to run

Installation, maintenance and repair for homes, businesses and industry. Inverter units with R32 refrigerant, fitted by our own technicians — not subcontractors.

Our services

From the first assessment to maintenance year after year

A badly installed unit cools poorly, makes noise and drives up the bill. We run a heat-load calculation on the space before recommending any equipment.

Residential installation

Split and multi-split inverter systems, with the outdoor unit placed where it will not bother anyone and the drain properly resolved.

Preventive maintenance

Deep coil cleaning, filter changes, refrigerant charge check and electrical inspection. This is what makes equipment last.

Repairs

Refrigerant leaks, compressors, control boards and blocked drains. Same-day diagnosis in most cases.

Commercial and industrial (VRF)

Variable refrigerant flow systems that let every zone hold its own temperature. Ideal for offices, clinics and larger premises.

Air quality

Advanced filtration, extraction and fresh-air renewal for enclosed spaces, kitchens and consulting rooms.

Control from your phone

Wi-Fi enabled units so you can switch on, schedule and check consumption from wherever you are.

Efficiency

The cheap unit is the expensive one

A conventional 12,000 BTU unit running 8 hours a day can cost several times more in electricity over a year than an equivalent inverter. The price difference on the equipment is recovered, and after that it starts saving.

0%

less electricity than a conventional unit of the same capacity, using inverter technology with R32 refrigerant.

  • The compressor modulates instead of cycling on and off
  • Stable temperature, no cold blasts
  • R32 refrigerant: smaller charge, lower environmental impact
  • Soft start, with no spike when it kicks in

Real comfort

Cooling is not enough: it has to let you sleep

The most common complaint is not that the unit fails to cool, but that it is noisy, it drips, or it blows cold air straight onto the bed. That is not the equipment's fault: it is where and how it was installed.

  • Considered placement: the airflow crosses the room instead of falling on you.
  • Level and drainage: correct fall so it never drips down the wall.
  • Anti-vibration mounts: the outdoor unit does not transmit noise into the structure.
  • Night mode: the unit eases the temperature up gradually while you sleep.

Maintenance

Plans that make your equipment last twice as long

In Costa Rica, between the humidity and the dust, an unmaintained unit loses efficiency within months. These are the schedules that work best for our clients.

Who does the work

Our own technicians, not subcontractors

The same team that installs is the one that maintains it afterwards. They know your system, they know what was done, and they stand behind it. None of the "someone else installed that, I wouldn't know".

  • Staff trained in refrigerant handling
  • Calibrated measuring instruments
  • Work covered by current insurance
  • Written warranty on installation and parts

Frequently asked

What people ask before buying an air conditioner

Send us the room dimensions on WhatsApp and we will tell you what capacity you need.

Ask a question

What capacity do I need for my room?
It depends on the floor area, ceiling height, how many windows there are and which way they face, how many people use it and what equipment is inside. As a rough guide a typical bedroom lands around 9,000 to 12,000 BTU, but we prefer to calculate it properly before recommending anything.
How often does it need maintenance?
In a home, twice a year. In a business with long opening hours or near the coast, every three months. Costa Rica's humidity and salt air foul the coils faster than most people expect.
What is the difference between inverter and conventional?
A conventional unit switches the compressor on and off at full power every time the temperature rises. An inverter modulates its speed and holds steady, using considerably less electricity, running quieter, and avoiding those uncomfortable cold blasts.
Do you supply the equipment, or do I buy it?
Either. We can supply the unit with manufacturer warranty or install one you have already bought. If you bring your own, we first check the capacity is right for the space.
My unit drips down the wall — is that serious?
It is usually a blocked drain or an incorrect fall at installation. Not serious if dealt with quickly, but left alone it damages the wall and can breed mould. It is a short, inexpensive visit.
What is a VRF system and when is it worth it?
It is a system where one outdoor unit feeds many indoor units, and each room controls its own temperature. It pays off in offices, clinics and premises with several zones, because it uses less energy than an independent unit in every room.
